You all remembered to keep your schedules open for next Wednesday's Shelter Christmas Party, right? We will be looking for help setting up an running some activities.
We are also going to bring presents for eight of the children staying at the shelter right now (We're helping student council members, who are also bringing gifts). There is a maximum of $25 per child, to make sure no kids feel left out for not getting really expensive toys or whatnot; the price can be split with up to 2-3 people, either with multiple gifts or one shared gift. Here is the list of names:

If you are going to sign up, leave a comment with your name and the name of the child you are sponsoring. If 3 people are already signed up for one kid, please choose a different one. If you signed up at Monday's meeting and your name is not on the list, just leave a comment for a kid with only two names. Thanks.
Food sign-ups: (feel free to volunteer for food, snacks, desserts and drinks) We have extra cookies from induction, so please try to sign up for another option. HEALTHY foods (fruit or veggie platters, cheese & crackers, etc.) are a great choice, too.

I know I said that I could make Christmas cookies, but I just found out today that I have three tests tomorrow and I have a doctor's appointment and I just can't make the cookies. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience it might have caused. But I will be there to help out.
